Maintenance We bought this boat in 2011 and have regularly updated a maintenance log complete with photos and digital receipts ever since. (Some of the photos prior to 2013 are now corrupt, but I have all the invoices.) We did a complete engine replacement (not rebuild) with brand new 4.3L engines with fresh water cooling and all attachments like the starter motor, pumps, alternator etc. and replaced other parts like the hot water tank, hoses and the starboard transom shield while the engines were out. We also did an engine bay structural test and replaced all of the through-hull fittings, strainers and hoses with the best brass parts available. Since we moor Seafever out of the water, we also installed a transom accessible fresh water flush adaptor kit with FlushPro valves. This makes engine flushes quick and easy with quick Gardena hose connectors and no need to open the engine room cover. The single point flush kit takes 2 minutes for both engines, so this boat is stored out of the water with the water drained from the engines.
